Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 100 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.

Direct Relief's assistance programs are tailored to the particular circumstances and needs of the world's most vulnerable and at-risk populations.

This tradition of direct and targeted assistance, provided in a manner that respects and involves the people served, has been a hallmark of the organization since its founding in 1948 by refugee war immigrants to the U.S. (Charity Navigator's top 4-star rating)

Supplying aid to victims of emergency.

The SAVE program has grown steadily since 2014 and has impacted more than 55,000 victims in California to date.

Sending 1.4 million bottles of water and providing at least $500,000 in financial assistance.

Americares is a health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster with life-changing medicine, medical supplies and health programs.

Hundreds of fires have burned nearly 4 million acres in California alone and the worst of fire season is still ahead through the end of October. In response, Emergency Programs are actively engaged with county, region, and state emergency response coordination bodies and the Emergency Team has reached out to health centers and partners to offer support.

Team Rubicon is monitoring the Southern California wildfires and in the process of planning a potential response.

Team Rubicon serves communities by mobilizing veterans to continue their service, leveraging their skills and experience to help people prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and humanitarian crises.

The fires have grown to well over 65,000 acres. Several areas are under mandatory evacuation orders and over 150 structures have been destroyed. Team Rubicon is in currently monitoring the situation and in the preliminary stages of planning a response.
