Malala Fund
Malala Fund is working for a world where every girl can learn and lead.
Organizational snapshot
Founded by activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, Malala Fund champions every girl’s right to 12 years of free, safe, quality education. With more than 130 million girls out of school today, we’re breaking down barriers that hold girls back. Malala Fund invests in education advocates and activists who are challenging the policies and practices that prevent girls from going to school in their communities. Malala Fund works in regions where the most girls miss out on secondary education, including Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Afghanistan, India, Lebanon, Tanzania, Turkey, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh.
